Being one of the best English novels of the 20th century To the Lighthouse is about the Ramsay family and their visit to the Isle of Skye in Scotland. When the Ramsay family goes to the Isle of Skye they want o see the lighthouse there. But Mr. Ramsay gives up this decision due to bad weather. Years later their dream comes true under the war circumstances which change Ramsay family and the public. Written with stream of consciousness technique, Virginia Woolf reveals details of her own living beyond Ramsays’ life and she mentions social problems, as well as philosophical thouhts.
