International Commission for the Preservation of Islamic Cultural Heritage (ICPICH) , Istanbul,1996 (in Arabic, English and Turkish)A total of five hundred and fifty participants from thirty-five countries joined this competition with one thousand two hundred works in fourteen calligraphic styles. This catalogue comprises the reproductions of seventy-six award winning plates. The catalogue also lists the winners of incentive and encouragement awards, as well as the addresses of the participants, in order to encourage communications among calligraphers world-wide. A list of the calligraphers who won incentive prizes in each style is given. Ninety-seven participants from twenty-six countries were awarded prizes and mentions.
