This book takes a holistic approach to exploring Islamic educational leadership, bringing together theory, research and practice. Starting with the foundations of leadership in Islam — faith, the purpose of human creation, and the aims of Islamic education — it then examines how the Qur’an and Sunnah define leadership characteristics. Building on this, it reviews conceptual frameworks on Islamic and Islamic educational leadership developed in the literature.
