Orada vaktini, kendi yarattığı <i>Süper Kahraman Kaptan Düşükdon</i>'un çizgi romanını yazıp çizerek geçirirdi. <i>Kaptan Düşükdon</i> hakkında bir kitap yayınlamak Dav'in en büyük hayaliydi. Bu hayal gerçek oldu. 1966 doğumlu Dav (Davis) Pilkey <i>Kaptan Düşükdon</i> (Özgün adı: <i>Captain Underpants</i>)'u yayımladı. <i>Kaptan Düşükdon</i>'un hasılatı 26.000.000 dolardır.
