Your looks should never give them away. Look at the convict in the eyes but amicably. There you will see a human who wish-es to pour his heart out. The rest should be easy. They say “One can remove another’s venom” in Turkish. This is half of being a criminal lawyer.Some of the anecdotes in this book are my own. Some were related by my colleagues in the courthouse corridors. I tried to narrate each story by placing the central point in the fore-ground. For confidentiality reasons I have used fictitious names. I have also added my own interpretation of events from time to time. This book is not a compilation of documented reports.
