It is the name of the ball carved from a pinecone and the game is played with wooden sticks. Before starting this game, which requires at least three people, a catcher is selected. Players draw their sticks without showing them to their friends. Whoever draws the shorter stick becomes the catcher. Then a pit is dug in an earthen area. The ball, called the hostick, is placed near the pit. The other players must block him while the catcher tries to throw the hostick into the pit. Whoever the catcher touches first when the hostick (ball) enters the hole becomes the new catcher and the game continues.
